remarks Found on a Sony Vaio Notebook running XP Home.
This process belongs to Drag"n Drop (see relevant processes) and other CD-Burning software (e.g. PrimoDVD).
It"s often reported that uninstall of Drag"n Drop does not remove this process...
The function of this process is unknown to me... any hints?

I took a look at their site, "About us" section.
Seems like they make everything work thats found on a multimedia pc:

"About US
Since founded, Easy Systems Japan has supplied CD-R/RW and DVD-R/RW writing software for major Japanese computer and drive manufacturers as well as systems
integrators.
We have expanded our business by collaborating and establishing close ties with both foreign and domestic companies.
[...]
Line of Business
1. Development and marketing CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW writing software.
2. Development and marketing DRM(Digital Rights Management)system.
3. Development and marketing variable printing software."

the new "Microsoft AntiSpyware" additionally says something like "No danger to expect from this process"

This process was definatly loaded after I soaled sonic stage by sony. I did a fresh load of XP and the only thing I loaded and used thus far was sonic stage. I used the sonic stage to rip my music cd's and then burn them to CDR. I did not have to load any special software to do this either. I found this interesting at the time and now I know why it worked. I am still wondering if it is something I want to keep running on my computer all the time or not.
